Levántatech recently delivered a special and timely session on bridging the digital divide for women to support civic engagement.
Digital skills aren’t just about workforce skills; they’re civic power. Women face layered barriers to civic participation, many of which are amplified by technology.
Hosted at For Her, this workshop broke down how digital literacy, access, and confidence directly impact women’s civic voices, especially in today’s political climate. With early voting for the March primaries kicking off right now, this conversation couldn’t be more important.
Through real-world examples and interactive discussion, attendees explored how closing the digital divide helps women stay informed, guard themselves from misinformation, and step into leadership in their communities both online and off.
